Shape Shifters in our Midst
Ooh, Friday the 13th has fallen on Sunday this month. No big
deal; the
world has been upside down for some time now anyway. It's only an
illusion that it's straight up; modern PR tactics and the media have
taken care of that.
Everyone from politicians to cops to Ma Bell to the blessed pope are
into shaping your perceptions of them and their agendae.
(By the way, I've finally begun to read David Icke's
book "Children of the Matrix", which is already changing my perspective
on ancient history and has given plausible answers to a few nagging
questions - although my innate skepticism is so far still operating
regarding the "interdimensional race" - but today I'll concentrate on
the here and now and how the media do their best to alter it.)
First, check out the link provided by John in the Reader Comments
section to see how Petie MacKay has regurgitated Canada's rewritten
history in Afghanistan.
Next, there's a Google
video
that shows a Calgary police officer kicking a passive vagrant and/or
drug user down a flight of stairs. That's been more or less confirmed
by Canwest
but also mitigated by the unsubstantiated image of a drug-ridden
neighbourhood, and the "admission" of the store owner whose
surveillance camera caught the police action that he sold crack pipes -
as if this were a crime. (Crack pipes are given away free in many
enlightened centres to prevent the spread of HIV.)
The Edmonton Sun was also very quick to put out an article entitled: "Cop
job no fun"
when another Calgary officer shot a man in the leg. (There is no
video
to prove that the assailant acted without provocation.)
The reality is that the police have no excuse for violence. They
are
the most protected individuals you're ever going to meet, whether they
need to be or not. They are better protected than our soldiers in
Afghanistan who are in far greater danger. They are certainly
better
protected than employees of "mental health" facilities, who somehow
find ways to restrain out of control patients without hurting them.
Montebello
is an excellent example. Where there was only the remotest chance
of
public violence, the police geared up as if for a bloody battle.
In
cases where they're only protected by vests and guns, you can be sure
they know they're in an even less threatening environment.
And that's
confirmed by the final paragraphs of the "No fun" article:
“I’ve
done most of the retirements for the guys over the last three years and
I’ve talked to many of them who have never had to draw their gun and
they’re quite proud of that fact, not because they wouldn’t do it, but
because they weren’t put in that situation.”
Yet the headline
screams pity the poor cop in the hope that's all that will be
remembered, as the media works to create the perception of extreme
danger in the streets, paving the way for acceptance of increased
suppression of dissent as the wheels of fascism roll on over us.
Here's
another well-known
untruth: Safe injection sites for drug users only encourage drug
use. Alleged criminal Larry
O'Brien, for instance, will tell you that, but he's working for
Harper's plan to fill future privatized prisons. Not wanted
are the facts from a
Federal study:
"...
the
opening of INSITE was associated with a 30% increase in detoxification
service use and a subsequent increase in rates of initiation of
long-term addiction treatment ..."
Moving on:
Two headlines:
Tories
hold on to poll lead (Canwest)
and
Conservatives
widen lead in poll (Reuters)
Sounds good for the Allcons, doesn't it? But the reality is that
a
whopping 65% of Canadians do not want the Harper bunch running this
country! Unfortunately, 30% hope and pray that the Liberals are a
viable alternative, and they might have been were they still capable of
forming a coalition with the NDP and Greens, who have moved up a bit in
the polls. But a vote for the shape-shifted, right leaning
Liberals
now means that the US agenda for Canada will proceed regardless of
whether Dion or Harper is named PM. And that's the truth.
Pfttttttttttttt!
And it's patently obvious that the next US election will produce more
of the same. Just let a presidential candidate slip and
accidentally
tell the truth and along will come a FOX to force some rapid shape
shifting upon him:
Obama
“Deeply Regrets” Words — IF They Offended ... economic bitterness leads
working class Pennsylvanians to cling to God, Guns, and Anti-Immigrant
fervor
And then there's Traffic
Shaping a la Bell
Ma Bell's maternal instincts appear to have run amok.
"Throttling" is something Homer Simpson would
do, isn't it? "Why you little... [steps towards Bart]".
But then charging more for less is all the rage nowadays, and causing
rage too.
Apparently, Canada is morphing into a
nation of rage-aholics - but over
the most trivial things. If only it could be bottled and tossed
like a
molatov cocktail onto the floor of Parliament to wake up those sods to
how they're wrecking this country.
And now for the comic relief:
Pope
Benedict's U.S. Visit to Reshape Image - to a softer, more charming
figure.
I rest my case.
