1)
The Perils of Barack and Michelle
New website: "Fights
and Smears" - has one purpose, countering all the lies told about
Michelle and Barack Obama. Well, two purposes, probably.
Electioneering comes to mind.
Maybe somebody is afraid they might actually become president and first
lady. You think?

2)
Jail time for Stephane?
This will give you some idea of how backlogged I can get with my
emails. I've been meaning to post this video link
since noon on the
10th. The text that accompanied the link cracked me up:
.....the
longer the JNF Tax Fraud goes on, the larger the circle of complicit
government officials and the longer the jail time
.....justice
now or justice later
.....the jails
will still be open
(Thanks to Ron of
Montreal
Planet Magazine.)
Libcons and
Allcons
beware. One day somebody will have to apologize for your crimes
against Canada in favour of a foreign country. And some of you,
with
any luck, will have served time for acts of treason - in your
privatized prisons, so you'd better build nice ones.

3)
Harper's Remorse wins Oscar - NOT
Like most apologies (full
text CTV), Harper's now famous apology to Canada's
First Nations is far from a cure-all, and while he used a lot of the
right words, it was clear to me they were not his words and quite
possibly not his sentiments, judging by the robotic way in which he
recited them. Did he think that First Nations people wouldn't see
that as well?
Garnet
Dodge: "The look in their eyes . . . doesn't really make me feel
they are sorry." (Chatham Daily News)
Yes, and did you see the goons sitting behind him
with their dopey expressions barely disguising their schoolboy
excitement over this latest foxy move on the part of their
leader. I guess they still don't know that some wrongs are too
big to be removed with words.
They'll learn.

4)
Senators in on the (neo)con?
The
Senate must not have seen
the lame apology, because they still think words do make a
difference.
Now they're saying that ...
" ... Mr. Harper should go on national television for 20
minutes to speak directly to Canadians about the war" and explain
to them why we can't get out by the forecasted 2011.
National
Post: Mr.
Kenny said that if Canadians could be shown measurable progress they
would be more willing to allow their troops to stay longer in
Afghanistan. Earlier this week, Afghan President Hamid Karzai said he
expected western troops will be needed in his country for another 10
years.
But there's
the rub, eh?
Canadians can't be shown measurable progress because if it existed we
would have had it plastered all over our TV screens every day.
Surely the good Senators know that. So they're in on the con,
right?
Yeah, 20 minutes oughta fix it, allright.

5)
Articles of Impeachment finally read
Here's an
article and a video of Dennis Kucinich reading the articles of
impeachment of Bush and Cheney. He was a bit more believable, and
the American people are much heartened by it. Cindy Sheehan is beside
herself with approval
of Kucinich and is challenging Ron Paul to cross the floor to the
Democrat side.
I think he's happy where he is.

6)
Mad Max and Julie: the plot thins
Why
can the Toronto Star still not name the pimp who introduced Julie and Max?
Just who were these "acquaintances" of his? They're hammering all
around it, but just not hitting the nail:
Couillard
was brought to a dinner gathering, held in Bernier's honour in April of
last year, by a colleague from a property development firm with which
she had recently become affiliated, sources say...The investigation has
confirmed Morin brought Couillard along to a weekly dinner held by a
handful of young Montreal businesspeople, and that Bernier's
acquaintances among the group intended to introduce the minister, a
bachelor, to the one-time actress and model.
In
Bernier's honour? Was it his birthday? Did he do something
earth shaking and altruistic? Or was it the standard practice of
setting a politician up with a woman in exchange for an inside track
into government contracts?
This goes on all the time, and should be dealt with firmly when
discovered, but what people should be jumping up and down about is the
fact that the RCMP, our great intelligence experts, our protectors of
the status quo, were either simply not on their toes when they failed
to alert the government about Couillard's background and Bernier's
involvement with this sleazy crowd (I couldn't care less how upscale
the restaurant where they dined is reputed to be!), or else Couillard
is their employee more than Kevlar's, and they are up to no good
themselves.
The Star
reports that the RCMP did indeed know Couillard very well
before she struck up with Bernier. But the Liberals are steering
clear of any insinuation against them.
Canadian
Press: The Liberals are citing security experts who say
the affair has all the outward appearances of a planned infiltration of
the government by criminal elements.
Meaning, of
course, Mafiosa and/or Angels, but considering the criminal elements
that have been shown to exist inside the police forces and in
government it's hard to know where one begins and the others end.
This is how US politicians are kept in line, of course. That's why the
blurring of lines between the polticial parties, and why the "yes"
votes on insane, fascist measures under the guise of fighting "terror"
or poverty, or disease. Dirt is dug up on them, or they are
tricked into getting dirty, and the information is stored against the
time when they might consider actually representing the people.
If Mad Max is right, that his riding still supports him, then they're
all drugged by chemtrails and are on their
way to hell in a large handbasket. Maybe he's just in
denial. After all, he has been under emotional stress lately,
poor darlin'. His Ma should have warned him about bad girls and
boys. Or was he the kind of kid other moms warned their sons
about? Maybe there's good reason he doesn't like to discuss his
"private" life.

7) The coming Revolution
If enough Americans have clued in, the following YouTube video
announcement may turn out to mean something:
